BEST OF BRASS

There’s nothing like the sound of five brass instruments to get an audience to sit up and take notice. With trumpets, trombones and a French Horn, BoB play music written by composers from across the world: tango legends, Australian waltzes, classical masters and Kazakh folk music. Famous for their dynamic, larger than life performances, BoB are also experts at explaining where the strange, bendy metal tubes they play come from, and how they work.

NATHAN SCHILLING trumpet, flugelhorn, piccolo trumpet
ARMIN TERZER horn

"We are simply your friendly neighborhood string quartet with above average amounts of beard."

This unusually blonde and bearded young string quartet has been winning the world over with their “warmth, wit, beautiful tone, and technical prowess” (NPR). Known for their diverse programming, incredible versatility and programmes ranging from Beethoven to Adès and Schnittke to Nordic folk tunes, these Danish musicians bring a fresh face to the traditional classical string quartet. The quartet has seen incredible success and rave reviews throughout their ten years together, and we are thrilled to present them in their Hong Kong debut.
